D Toni Lydman continues to progress following his scary acute episode of double vision that he suffered exactly one month ago. Lydman has practiced with the team over the last two days but has yet to be cleared for any contact drills. The nine-year NHL veteran said he feels "significantly better" than he did two or three weeks ago, but no root cause of the double vision has been found despite a battery of tests he's had to undergo. The closest thing to a possible cause is a severe migraine, which the veteran defender has dealt with in varying levels since he was a teenager.

D Toni Lydman has yet to appear in a game as he missed all of training camp due to an acute episode of double vision that he suffered on Sept. 8. Lydman said he is "significantly better" than he was two or three weeks ago but has just started practicing and doesn't figure to be ready for at least another two weeks.
